MY PIGS
I first started keeping pigs in 2010.
After then meeting the oxford sandy and blacks I decided this
was the breed I wanted to keep, I then went on to keep these for
meat and then find my first gilt Rosie who I have had since 8
weeks old.
At home they are kept in outdoor pens
apart from when farrowing when they come inside for some well
needed rest. They tend to go outside again when the piglets are
about 3 weeks old. In their pens they have their arks with lots
of fresh straw reguarly topped up keeping them nice and warm.
They also have their wallows for in the warm weather to cool them
down.
They are very pampered loved piggies!
